Two properties in Crimea and millions of dollars in bank accounts were found in Saldo's name

Vladimir Saldo, the Gauleiter of the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, was found to own two estates in Crimea—in Simferopol and Gurzuf. The collaborator’s daughter has received a Russian passport and works at Rosatom.

This is according to a joint investigation by Slidstvo.Info and Kiborg.News.

As journalists discovered, a 324-square-meter villa with a pool, garage, and several bedrooms is located in Gurzuf on the southern coast of Crimea. Journalists obtained video footage of the property from Russian real estate agents.

According to the Russian Federation’s cadastral map, the land plot and the main house are listed as property of the Russian Federation, while the service building, according to the registry, belongs to Volodymyr Saldo.

Journalists also speculate that Saldo may be the owner of the entire estate, and that the information in the registry has been concealed. The authors of the investigation note that similar cases have occurred in the past.

Another property is a 334-square-meter house in Simferopol on a street named after the newspaper “Komsomolskaya Pravda.”

According to the registry, Saldo has owned it since 2023, although the property is listed on the cadastral map as state property of the Russian Federation.

The investigation also mentions the Gauleiter’s daughter, Irina. She is originally from Ukraine but has also obtained a Russian passport.

Before the occupation of part of the Kherson region, Irina Saldo had long tried to live and work in Europe: she tried her hand at modeling, worked as a photographer, and sold jewelry and real estate on the French coast.

A year after the occupation, in 2023, according to the investigation, she moved to Russia, obtained a Russian passport, and studied at a local coaching academy.

In January 2025, the traitor’s daughter got a job at a subsidiary of Rosatom—a company subject to Ukrainian sanctions. In February 2026, she became an advisor to the vice president of Uranium One Group, which is also subject to sanctions.

In Moscow, according to the registry, Iryna Saldo purchased a 73-square-meter apartment in the “English Quarter” residential complex in Zamoskvorechye—a district considered to be upscale. She purchased the property in July 2024 and sold it in July 2025. The apartment’s assessed value is approximately $700,000.

According to journalists, Irina’s daughter and Vladimir Saldo’s granddaughter, Milana Sinkova, also holds Russian citizenship.

According to leaks from Russian banking databases, in 2024, Vladimir Saldo had 784 million rubles—approximately $8.6 million—in deposits at VTB and Promsvyazbank.

 Saldo headed the Russian-occupied administration of the Kherson region and participated in the so-called annexation of the region into the Russian Federation.

Ukrainian courts found him guilty on three counts: high treason, collaboration, and justifying Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine. The court also ruled to confiscate the Saldo family’s real estate, shares in companies, and financial assets.
