In Kherson, the occupiers attacked a child and a supermarket with a drone

Over the past day, Russian troops attacked Kherson and other settlements in the region using aircraft, artillery, and drones. Three people were killed, and 14 others were wounded, including an 11-year-old boy.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure as well as residential neighborhoods. As a result of the shelling, five high-rise buildings and 18 private homes were damaged, along with a supermarket, a cell tower, and a private car.

Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, provided a separate update on the attacks over the past 24 hours.

At around 4:30 p.m., Russian forces attacked an 11-year-old boy with a drone in the Central District of Kherson. The child was taken to the hospital.

The boy was diagnosed with an explosive-related injury, and doctors are conducting further examinations.

At the same time, a Russian drone attacked one of the supermarkets in the city’s Central District. The drone struck the roof of the sales floor.

Also on the morning of August 31, around 4:10 a.m., Russian drone operators dropped explosives onto the grounds of one of Kherson’s municipal utilities. As a result of the attack, a trolleybus was damaged—the blast wave and debris mangled the interior and shattered the windows. No one was injured.

Over the past day, 10 people were evacuated from liberated communities in the Kherson region.

As a reminder, on August 31, Russian forces attacked the building of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in the Kherson region. The strike caused a fire, and the roof and upper floors of the building were burned out.

In addition, on the morning of August 31 in Kherson, a Russian drone attacked the grounds of ahealthcarefacility in the city center. Two employees of the facility were injured.
