Last week, law enforcement officers searched the homes of Vira Bilyakova, head of Mykolaiv's MSEC, and her son as part of an investigation into a mobilization evasion scheme. However, no one has been served with a notice of suspicion.

This was reported by Nadiya Maksymets, a representative of the Prosecutor General's Office, to Suspilne.

According to her, the searches were conducted on suspicion of obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Significant amounts of money were seized during the searches, and the process of arresting this money and other materials found during the investigation is underway.

Investigators found more than $450,000 in cash and jewelry that the woman kept at different addresses. Most of the cash and jewelry was found in the apartment of her son, a medical student, where they also found a Russian passport.

"Currently, a motion has been filed with the court to arrest these funds and other materials that were found as a result of the investigation. And as a result of their analysis, appropriate decisions will be made," the statement said.

Meanwhile, a criminal group operated in Odesa's MSEC, which issued documents of unfitness for service to persons liable for military service for money. Dozens of people were involved in the fraud.

At the same time, journalist Iryna Hryb reported that the staff of the regional MSEC appointed Dr. Mykola Holubenko, who previously headed Maternity Hospital #2 in Odesa, as the new head.

The previous head of the Odesa Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise, Olena Stanislavova, resigned.

October 22 Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin announces that he is resigning from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine due to the facts of abuse in the system of prosecution bodies of Ukraine.

The Prosecutor General said that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had held a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council regarding the immoral situation with fake disabilities of government officials.
