Mykolaiv Water Supply Network Reconstruction Auction: ₴15M Funded by Donors

An auction has been announced in Mykolaiv for the reconstruction of the water supply network. International donors have allocated over UAH 15 million for this purpose.

According to the Prozorro procurement system, Mykolaivvodokanal plans to upgrade water supply networks on 3 Slobidska Street - from Chkalova Street to Zavodska Street.

Bids can be submitted until March 4, and the auction is to be held the next day. UAH 15 million 76 thousand 139 is allocated for the works. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 150 thousand 761. No bid security is required.

The project will be funded by donor funds, more specifically by the Danish Refugee Council in Ukraine. The contractor will receive an advance payment of 20 percent. Subsequent payments are made in accordance with the actual work performed on the basis of interim acts.

According to the terms, the contractor must complete the reconstruction by November 4, 2025. It is planned to upgrade the water supply network with a diameter of 150 mm using polyethylene pipes that will be laid underground.

The new network will be connected to the existing water supply system, and reconnection of consumers is also envisaged. Upon completion of the main works, the contractor is obliged to carry out landscaping and greening of the territory. The final stage will include flushing, cleaning and disinfection of the pipelines in accordance with construction standards and current occupational health and safety legislation.

The Central District Administration of Mykolaiv City Council recently announced a tender for mechanized vacuum and wet road cleaning. The expected value of the procurement exceeded UAH 5 million. Under the terms of the tender, the contractor is obliged to clean 4478.82 km of roads using vacuum machines and provide 489.26 km of wet cleaning.

Mykolaiv also plans to restore the city's amenities, including asphalt pavement and sidewalk fixtures. A tender has been announced for this purpose with an expected value of over UAH three million. In addition, Mykolaivpastrans has announced a tender to find contractors to provide vehicle repair and maintenance services, including bus body washing.
