In a village in Mykolaiv region, a tender was announced for the restoration of a water supply system for almost UAH 14 million. The funds for the repair were provided by the European Investment Bank.
This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro electronic public procurement system.
The village of Sofiyivka, Pervomaiskyi district, Mykolaiv region, is planning to overhaul the water supply network. The expected cost of the works is UAH 13 million 981 thousand 81 including VAT. The procurement was initiated by Myhiyivka village council.
Bids can be submitted until April 18, and the auction is scheduled for April 21. The minimum price reduction step is 0.50%. Participants must provide a bid security in the amount of UAH 69 thousand 905.
As stated in the tender, the project is being implemented under the Emergency Credit Program for the Recovery of Ukraine, funded by the European Investment Bank. Bidders must also provide a bank guarantee in the amount of 1% of the contract value. The repairs are to be completed by the end of 2025.
If the contractor is selected, the customer may make an advance payment of up to 30% of the annual work scope. If a subcontractor is involved, it must be paid at least 20 percent of the contract value.
According to the terms of reference, among other works, the contractor has to excavate the soil in trenches and pits with excavators, arrange a sand base for pipelines, lay pipes, install water purification filters, fill in trenches, etc.
Mykolaiv also plans to reconstruct water supply networks on Budivelnykiv Street. The works will last until August 2025 as part of a project to modernize the city's water supply system. The funding was provided by the Danish Refugee Council in Ukraine.
In addition, an auction for the maintenance of local roads was announced in Mykolaiv region. More than UAH 900 million has been allocated for this purpose. According to the tender documents, the works will cover public roads of local importance with a total length of 3314.4 km. The contractor will supervise the roads until May 2026.
