Mykolaiv Prosecutor's Office Official Declares ₴1.4M Car Gift and Wealth

The head of the department of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office declared an apartment, a garage, a car and significant monetary assets. According to the declaration, he received the car as a gift in 2024.

This is evidenced by the Unified Register of Declarations.

Vitalii Shevchenko, Head of the Department for Supporting Activities in the Field of Preventing and Combating Corruption of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, has published his declaration for 2024. According to the document, he has been entitled to use an apartment since 2017 with a total area of 63.4 square meters with other members of his family. The apartment was purchased for 100 thousand 679 hryvnias. He also owns a 21-square-meter garage, purchased in 2018 for 47 thousand hryvnias.

In 2024, Shevchenko became the owner of a TOYOTA RAV4 made in 2023, which cost 1 million 416 thousand 620 hryvnias. The declaration states that this vehicle was given to the law enforcement officer as a gift.

His salary at the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office amounted to UAH 1 million 277 thousand 123, and his pension was UAH 197 thousand 165. In addition, he received an in-kind gift of UAH 1 million 416 thousand 620 from Petro Shevchenko.

Vitaliy Shevchenko also has monetary assets: UAH 700 thousand in cash, UAH 140 thousand 212 in the State Savings Bank of Ukraine JSC and UAH 27 thousand 485 in PrivatBank JSC.

In 2023, the Head of the Department for Supporting Activities in the Field of Preventing and Combating Corruption earned UAH 1.2 million, which amounted to UAH 103 thousand 667 per month. In addition, he received a pension of UAH 196,145, which amounts to UAH 16,345 per month, and owned a 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN, purchased in 2021 for UAH 730,000.

And the head of Snihuriv MBA Ivan Kukhta owns several land plots, shares in several companies, cars, and has 110 thousand US dollars. The official's new declaration also contains details on the sources of his income.

Also, Mykola Marinov, deputy head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, filed a declaration in which he disclosed his family's considerable wealth. The document contains information on real estate, vehicles, financial assets and sources of income of the official and his wife, which states that Marinov has 170 thousand USD, and his wife - 130 thousand.
