The project is aimed at developing the city and its tourism potential. According to Tetiana Shulichenko, Director of the Economic Development Department, it is not only about updating the infrastructure, but also about creating jobs and attracting tourists.

The architects assure that the new buildings will be fully accessible to people with disabilities. The project also provides for a shelter, although the developers hope that by the time it is implemented, the need for it will disappear.

A register of recovery projects has been created in Mykolaiv. The register allows for a unified system of accounting for municipal property and promotes transparency through open data.

Over the past year, 1,436 inspections of facilities damaged by Russian aggression were conducted, allowing for the development of recovery plans and assistance to citizens through the EU Recovery Program and international initiatives. The Department of State Architectural and Construction Control conducted 10 unscheduled inspections, issued 9 orders to eliminate violations and 5 orders to stop construction work, imposing fines of UAH 319,562, of which UAH 866,126 was collected.
