The city authorities of Mykolaiv have ordered the development of a topographic plan for the central part of the city. The plan's data will be integrated into geographic information systems to create a database of urban planning cadastre and provide convenient interactive access to it.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro procurement system.

The executive committee of Mykolaiv City Council ordered the update of digital engineering and topographic plans of the city center for UAH 3 million 954 thousand 862. The bidding was peculiar: only one bidder submitted an application - the municipal enterprise Directorate for Capital Construction and Reconstruction of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, with which the contract was signed.

The update will cover about 37 km² and will include precise recording of relief, water bodies, settlements, industrial and social facilities, roads, bridges, vegetation and boundaries. The plan envisages a combined method of topographic surveying and compliance with applicable norms and standards.

The data will be integrated into geographic information systems to create a unified urban planning cadastre. They will become the basis for master and detailed plans, geoportal maps, and inventory of urban buildings and infrastructure.

The work will include collecting and analyzing available materials, field measurements using total stations and GPS receivers, editing, quality control, and preparation of plans in the required electronic formats.

It is planned to complete the update of digital topo maps by the end of 2025. In May of this year, the city reported on the organization of topographic data collection and negotiations with the Ministry of Reconstruction.
