A festive Easter tram is now running in Mykolaiv, creating a special Easter atmosphere while traveling around the city.

According to Mykolaivelectrotrans, the tram was decorated by the company's employees together with the staff of the Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Voskresensk community. The organizers note that the main goal is to give passengers a warm Easter atmosphere and good mood.

The festive flight started at 9:00 am. The first passengers received nice gifts - Easter cakes and exclusive stickers. At the same time, the number of gifts is limited, so the very first guests of this flight were lucky.

The tram has a board number 1058 and runs on route No. 3.

Residents are encouraged not to miss the opportunity to feel the festive mood by riding the decorated tram with their families, taking photos and sharing them on social media.

The organizers remind that Easter is a holiday of light, kindness, and hope, and hope that this project will give the townspeople a piece of a real holiday miracle.

Meanwhile, public transportation was temporarily restricted in Kherson due to the security situation.

Earlier, Intent wrote that Mykolaiv will receive 40 tramcars from the Swedish city of Gothenburg. These are M29 trams, which were previously used in the Swedish urban transportation system.

The initiative to transfer the vehicles was launched by Ragnar Lund, director of the Rethinking Cities in Ukraine platform. It was he who helped establish cooperation between the city of Mykolaiv, Mykolaivelectrotrans, and the Swedish company Göteborgs Spårvägar.

According to Lund, the transfer of the cars became possible after Göteborg began to gradually decommission its M29 trams.

In addition, Mykolaiv will soon have a new trolleybus route No. 14 "Mykolaiv-Vantazhny - Kazarskogo Street".
