Mykolaiv Parks budget may be increased to 100 million

The decision to increase the authorized capital of the municipal enterprise Mykolaiv Parks to UAH 100.1 million will be made again at the city council session.

According to MikVisti, , the draft decision has already been supported by the Housing and Communal Services Commission.

According to Ihor Nabatov, deputy director of the Housing and Communal Services Department, the issue has been repeatedly considered both at the commissions and in the session hall. Now it is being submitted in an updated form - with a clarification of the amount of the authorized capital. At the same time, the official noted, the previously provided justification remains valid.

"The total amount has increased from the initial UAH 1 million to UAH 100 million. Compared to the latest version of the draft, this is a change from 80 to 100 million," Nabatov explained.

The explanatory note states that the funds for this have already been provided for and transferred from the city budget during 2023-2025. In particular, UAH 800 thousand was allocated in May 2023, UAH 170 thousand in August, more than UAH 40.7 million in December, another UAH 25.7 million in April 2025, and UAH 31.65 million in May. A total of UAH 99 million 61 thousand has already been allocated for the company's capitalization.

In the first five months of 2025, Mykolaiv Parks spenttens of millions of hryvnias on various services and goods, from garbage collection to the purchase of new equipment. The procurement data investigated by Intent shows that Mykolaivski Parks' activities have gone beyond the usual care of green areas. The company spent money not only on utilities and equipment maintenance, but also on bronze elements for memorials.

In 2024, Mykolaiv Parks spenthundreds of millions on machinery, equipment, and green space maintenance. While at the beginning of the year, more than UAH 48 million was planned for the maintenance of parks and squares, by the end of the year this amount had risen to UAH 89 million. Specialized equipment was one of the most expensive purchases, with 45.4 million allocated for it. In total, the company spent about UAH 240 million on the city's improvement.
