The mayors of Mykolaiv region have disclosed their incomes, and the largest amounts were declared by Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych. At the same time, the financial performance of other community leaders varies significantly - from millions of dollars to much more modest amounts.

TheCenter for Public Investigations, together with Intent, analyzed the declarations of mayors of Mykolaiv Oblast. The rating includes reports from the mayors of Bashtanka, Voznesensk, Mykolaiv and Pervomaisk.

The highest income among the mayors of the region was declared by Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych - UAH 9.6 million. Of this amount, more than UAH 1.17 million is his salary (in 2024, it was less - UAH 946 thousand). The bulk of the family's income was provided by his wife, who received UAH 8.4 million, including UAH 5.3 million from entrepreneurial activities and more than UAH 800 thousand in salary. For comparison, last year the total family income was lower - UAH 7.6 million.

The second place in the ranking was taken by Bashtanka Mayor Oleh Berehovoi with an income of UAH 7.7 million. His personal salary for the year amounted to about UAH 659 thousand, which is less than in the previous year (UAH 854 thousand). At the same time, a significant part of the family budget was formed by his wife's income: over UAH 7.1 million from business, UAH 240 thousand from the sale of a car, UAH 100 thousand from the sale of a land plot, and over UAH 37 thousand from property rental. In addition, the official received minor government payments under the National Cashback and Winter Support programs.

The third position was taken by the mayor of Pervomaisk, Oleh Demchenko, with an income of UAH 1.6 million, which is less than a year earlier (UAH 2.3 million). His income is based on his salary - UAH 1.29 million - and a pension of over UAH 336 thousand. In the previous year, these figures were slightly higher. The official's wife received more than UAH 415 thousand from entrepreneurial activity and a small pension.

The lowest income among these officials was declared by the mayor of Voznesensk, Yevhen Velychko, who earned UAH 728.7 thousand, which is significantly less than the over one million UAH he earned in 2024. At the same time, he additionally received about 400 thousand hryvnias from the sale of movable property, probably a car that was previously listed in the declaration.

In general, the analysis of declarations shows that the key role in the formation of family income of most mayors is played by the entrepreneurial activities of their family members, while official salaries of the officials themselves make up only a part of their total wealth.

As for Odesa mayors, the absolute leader in terms of income is the mayor of Izmail, Andriy Abramchenko. The total income of the official's family in 2025 reached UAH 10.9 million.
