On February 27, 2025, at 11:00, a regular session of the Mykolaiv City Council of the VIII convocation will be held in the format of a video conference. The live broadcast will be provided by Intent.

The relevant order was signed by the mayor Oleksandr Senkevych.

At the meeting, the deputies will consider 102 land issues, 2 budget issues and 18 current issues. The key topics include the participation of utilities in a joint project with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development "Urban Infrastructure Development Project - 2", the acquisition of a local architectural monument - the Tram Substation, and the creation of after-school care centers in schools.

In addition, the agenda includes an increase in the authorized capital of City Hospital No. 4 and the issue of writing off fixed assets. As for the budget block, the deputies will consider the Social Protection program for 2024-2026 and the report on the implementation of the Mykolaiv community budget for 2024.

Separate voting is planned for: 7 land issues, 1 budgetary issue on the approval of the Education program for 2025-2027, and 3 current issues related to property lease, public procurement, and green spaces.

Mykolaiv has also increased funding for social services and introduced compensation for dental treatment for citizens with disabilities. Expenditures on social assistance increased from UAH 125,000 to UAH 150,000 due to the growing number of people in need of support.

A new item has been added to the city program - reimbursement of dental treatment costs with general anesthesia or sedation for people with disabilities over 18 years of age.

Recently, Mykolaiv City Hospital No. 4 received additional funding of UAH 25 million, which has already been spent to purchase a building to equip a prosthetic and orthotic workshop. The opening of the prosthetic center in Mykolaiv will allow residents to receive the necessary assistance locally, without having to travel to other regions, which will greatly facilitate the maintenance of prostheses.
