Mykolaiv is looking for security guards to ensure public safety. More than one and a half million hryvnias have been allocated from the city budget for this purpose.

This is evidenced by the data of the electronic public procurement system Prozorro.

The State Bureau of Investigation in Mykolaiv has announced a tender to find a contractor to provide public security and law enforcement services. It is stated that security services should be provided with the use of rifled firearms.

The auction is scheduled to start on December 10. Bidders are not required to provide a security for their bids.

The expected value of the procurement is UAH 1 million 576 thousand 800. The minimum price reduction step is 0.5% of the purchase amount, i.e. UAH 7,884.

The selected contractor is to provide services during the year - from January 1 to December 31, 2025. Payment for the services is planned to be made within ten days after their provision.

According to the tender documentation, the State Bureau of Investigation needs to protect its office premises, as well as ensure the protection of property and personal safety of individuals who are on the territory.

The winner must provide information confirming the availability of equipment and material and technical facilities necessary for the provision of services. This includes a pistol with ammunition, bulletproof vest, radio station, handcuffs, rubber batons, means equipped with tear gas and irritant substances, and uniforms.

Recently, Mykolaiv Regional Guard was awarded a contract for the protection of fortifications without competition. Only one bidder came to the auction and was awarded the contract. The term of service provision is until December 31, 2024. This means that the company receives two million from the city budget per month. Payment is to be made after the work is completed.

An additional 13 million will be spent on repairing the police station in Izmail. A search was announced for a contractor to overhaul the roof, water supply and sewage networks of the administrative building. The work will be carried out at the expense of a special fund within the framework of the city's program to support the security and defense sector of Ukraine for 2024.

And in Kherson region, over 15 million worth of electronic warfare devices were purchased with a possible overpayment of a million. The Milivka village council bought 2 complexes of interference with ground and air reconnaissance equipment "Nota" for UAH 15.7 million. In almost all procurements in Kherson region, all contract documents are classified.
