Mykolaiv Attacked by Kamikaze Drones: 10 Injured, Buildings Damaged

Mykolaiv was attacked by kamikaze drones, resulting in ten people being injured and dozens of buildings, cars and garages being damaged. The enemy also fired at the Kutsurubska and Ochakivska communities with FPV drones and artillery.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

On the night of April 10, the air defense forces of Mykolaiv region worked on enemy targets. Details of these actions have not yet been disclosed.

Around 2:45 a.m., Russian troops attacked the city with Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones. The blast wave and debris damaged nine high-rise buildings, three cars, 30 garages, and an administrative building. Two fires also broke out - in one of the apartments and on the territory of the garage cooperative. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fires.

Ten people were injured in the attack. Two of them - a 29-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man - were hospitalized with moderate injuries, while the others were treated on an outpatient basis.

During April 9 and at night on April 10, the occupiers attacked the Kutsurub community four times: twice with FPV drones and twice with artillery. An apartment building was damaged in Dmytrivka. On the same day, FPV drones also attacked the waters of the Ochakiv community, but there were no casualties.

On the night of April 6, Mykolaiv came under another drone attack, injuring four people and damaging residential buildings and cars. The enemy also shelled Kutsurubska and Ochakivska communities with FPV drones. As a result of the explosions and falling debris, two fires broke out in the private sector, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers. A total of 13 private houses and a car were damaged.

On the night of March 28, air defense forces destroyed several kamikaze drones over the Mykolaiv region, but the enemy managed to strike Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities, damaging the power grid. In Voznesensk, a drone strike set a warehouse of an agricultural enterprise on fire.

And on March 23, Russian troops attacked the Mykolaiv region with artillery and FPV drones, and the Kutsurubska, Halytsynivska, and Ochakivska communities came under fire. A medical facility and windows in a high-rise building were damaged.
