Mykolaiv Allocates ₴5.75M for Public Transport Repair Tender

Mykolaiv has announced a tender for the repair and washing of public transport. Almost six million hryvnias from the city budget have been allocated for these services.

This is evidenced by the data of the electronic public procurement system Prozorro.

Mykolaivpastrans has announced a tender to find a contractor that will provide vehicle repair and maintenance services, including bus body washing.

The tender was announced on January 27, and the auction is scheduled to take place on February 4. Almost 5.75 million hryvnias are planned to be allocated for this purpose. The size of the minimum price reduction step is 1.00%, i.e. 57,505 hryvnias.

The winner will be obliged to provide comprehensive care for municipal buses, cars and vans, including repair, maintenance, tire fitting and vehicle washing.

These are Renault Trafic, Renault Megane Scenic and other passenger cars, Volkswagen Caddy van, as well as MAZ-206086, Solaris Urbino 18, Irisbus Crossway, MAN A21, Volvo 8700/ Volvo B9R, Irisbus Axer, SOR C 9.5, SOR NB 12, Mercedes-Benz Citaro, ZAZ A 10, etc. The Bidder shall provide a full range of services for the repair and maintenance of vehicles at its service station.

According to the tender documents, the cost of materials, spare parts and equipment should be 75% of the total contract amount. The contractor has until the end of 2025 to complete all the work.

Recently, Mykolaivpastrans utility company announced a tender for security services for road transport facilities. The expected contract amount was over half a million hryvnias. The security services were to cover administrative and utility buildings, production and ancillary facilities, as well as the surrounding area and the transportation yard.

However, the bidding did not take place due to a complaint filed by Tserber Zahyst LLC and CENTER-97 Security Agency against the discriminatory terms of the tender documentation. The decision of the appeal body is currently pending.

Also, a Mykolaiv utility company received a contract for almost UAH 500 million to provide transportation for citizens. The funding was issued by the decision of the Mykolaiv executive committee. The contract for the provision of public transportation services, including passenger transportation by trams and trolleybuses, was signed with Mykolaivelectrotrans.
