In Mykolaiv, a tender for almost five hundred million was awarded to a utility company for transportation services. The funds were allocated by the Mykolaiv executive committee.

This is evidenced by the data of the electronic public procurement system Prozorro.

The agreement for public road transportation services, including passenger transportation by trams and trolleybuses, was signed with the Mykolaivelectrotrans utility company.

The executive committee of Mykolaiv City Council allocated UAH 440 million 4 thousand 400 from the city budget for this purpose.

The purchase was made without an open tender. The justification states that this company is the only provider of electric transportation services in the city.

The company will provide transportation services totaling 5,117,343.88 kilometers, covering 8 trolleybuses and 6 tram routes.

According to the provisions of the law on conducting auctions, if the cost of works exceeds UAH 1.5 million, the procurement may be carried out without the use of open bidding. The volume of procurement is determined based on annual planning, as well as taking into account the customer's needs for 2025.

The contract will be valid until December 31, 2025.

Mykolaiv is also looking for a contractor to eliminate unauthorized waste dumps with loading and removal to the city landfill in the Zavodskyi district of Mykolaiv. In addition, they plan to spend almost UAH 4 million to supply electricity for traffic lights.

In 2024, the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration allocated local budget funds for various needs. The total amount of planned procurement costs exceeded UAH 36 million.

At the same time, Mykolaiv Regional Council spent more than UAH three million to meet its own needs. The tenders included fuel purchases, installation of generators, repairs, and consulting services.
