Mykolaiv has announced a tender for the elimination of unauthorized landfills. Almost four million hryvnias were allocated from the budget for this purpose.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro electronic public procurement system.

The city is looking for a contractor to eliminate unauthorized waste dumps with loading and removal to the city landfill in the Zavodskyi district of Mykolaiv.

The tender was organized by the Administration of Zavodskyi district. The expected cost of services is UAH 3 million 915 thousand 633. The minimum price reduction is 1% of the purchase amount - UAH 39 thousand 156. The bidders are not required to provide a bid security.

Applications for participation in the tender will be accepted until January 28, 2025, and the auction will start on January 29. The customer is obliged to make payment on the basis of an act of services rendered after receiving budget funds, in accordance with the terms of the contract.

According to the terms of the tender, it is planned to load and remove waste to the municipal landfill. The total volume of services is 23,324 m³. The work is to be completed by the end of 2025.

The selected contractor must submit a monthly report on the volume of services provided to the client no later than the 5th day of the month following the reporting month. To provide high-quality and timely services, bidders must have a sufficient amount of equipment: dump trucks, loaders and have personnel with appropriate qualifications.

In the course of the work, the contractor must load garbage by mechanized and manual means; remove it to the municipal landfill; and collect garbage spilled during loading or removal.

Last December, the Zavodsky District Administration announced a tender for the removal of bulky waste using specialized equipment. More than six million hryvnias were allocated from the budget for this purpose. It was planned to install 11 containers for collecting garbage to be transported to the city landfill.

Earlier, the Mykolaiv Housing and Maintenance Department also announced a tender for the provision of waste management services. In total, 20 thousand cubic meters of waste had to be disposed of. The contractor was obliged to transport the waste from Mykolaiv PSC facilities to the city landfill or other authorized landfills. Five million hryvnias were allocated from the budget for these services.
