Mykolaiv allocated 6 million for import of bulky waste

More than six million hryvnias have been allocated from the budget for garbage collection in one of Mykolaiv's districts. It is planned to install 11 containers and take the collected waste to the city landfill.

This is evidenced by data from the electronic public procurement system Prozorro.

The administration of the Zavodsky district of Mykolaiv City Council has announced a tender for the removal of bulky waste by special equipment.

Bids can be submitted until December 7, and the auction is scheduled to start on December 9.

UAH 6 million 499 thousand 860 was allocated for these services. The minimum price reduction step is 1% of the amount, i.e. 64 thousand 998 hryvnias.

According to the tender documentation, the selected contractor will have to remove 25,590 m3 of bulky waste.

Payments will be made by transferring funds to the contractor's bank account based on the certificate of services rendered.

For the quality and timely provision of services, the contractor must have a sufficient number of special equipment, namely: at least 3 bunker trucks and 11 open-type containers for collecting bulky waste with a volume of 10 m3.

The contractor shall also:

Services must be provided from January 1 to December 31, 2025.

A similar tender was also announced by the Mykolaiv Housing and Maintenance Department. They are looking for a contractor to handle waste disposal. Five million hryvnias were allocated from the budget for this purpose. In total, 20 thousand cubic meters of garbage will need to be disposed of. The contractor will have to take waste from Mykolaivska PSC's facilities to the municipal landfill or other authorized landfills.

The administration of Zavodskiy district has allocated more than four million hryvnias from the city budget to eliminate unauthorized dumpsites. The selected contractor will also have to provide services through the next year, 2025, and clean up 33,930 m3 of landfill areas.
