More than 20 million offered to repair bomb shelter in Mykolaiv college

In Mykolaiv, it is planned to repair the storage facility at a polytechnic college. The budget for the work was set at over UAH 23 million.

According to the public procurement website Prozorro, the customer was the Department of Capital Construction of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, which announced the tender on December 12.

According to the tender documentation, it is a major overhaul of the civil defense facility of the Mykolaiv Polytechnic Vocational College - storage facility No. 52498, located at 11-A Nikolska Street.

Participants can submit their proposals until December 27, and on the same day the winner will be selected in an open bidding format with features that provide for shorter deadlines than before. The contractor must complete all work by the end of 2025. For this, it will receive UAH 23 million 438 thousand.

During the repair, ventilation, heating, water supply, lighting and electricity systems will be installed. A hydraulic lift for people with disabilities, emergency lighting, fire alarms, automatic fire extinguishing systems and gas alarms will be installed.

Dismantling works will include dismantling of walls, floors and doors in the basement. General construction activities will include the arrangement of evacuation and emergency exits, floor installation, facade insulation, painting of walls and ceilings, and other necessary works. The shelter is also designed to be an inclusive environment: tactile tiles, signs with information about floors and exits will be installed, and a shower and bathroom for people with disabilities will be equipped.

Meanwhile, in Mykolaiv, the reconstruction of the lyceum' s basement to shel ter the lyceum was awarded to a company that regularly receives contracts from city council offices and departments. Only one bidder attended the auction, and the contract was awarded to that company.
