Military discloses details of missile attack on Odesa

Late in the evening of September 24, Russian occupants fired four aircraft missiles at the territory of Odesa region.

This was reported by the Air Force.

According to the military, the X-59/69 guided missiles were fired from the airspace from the Black Sea.

The air defense forces managed to shoot down four X-59/69 missiles.

In total, Russian troops launched eight missiles and 32 UAVs. As a result of the air battle, 28 drones were destroyed. Four more drones were lost in several regions of Ukraine, with no information on injuries or damage.

Update at 9:00: The JFO reported that a missile, preliminary, X-59/69, hit an open area in Odesa region. Dry grass caught fire over an area of 100 square meters. The fire was quickly extinguished.

Two trucks moving nearby were damaged by the debris. No one was killed or injured. Law enforcement officers are recording the consequences of the attack.

The explosions in Odesa occurred at approximately 22:50. Earlier, the Air Force reported the activity of enemy tactical aircraft in the Black Sea. The military warned of the threat of the use of air strikes, and later spotted missiles flying in the direction of Odesa region.

Subsequently, Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov warned of the movement of attack UAVs.

On Friday, September 20, Odesa came under a rocket attack by Russian occupation forces. People were injured in the shelling. According to preliminary data, the enemy fired at Odesa with Iskander-M ballistic missiles. Law enforcement officers documented the consequences of another attack by Russian troops.

On the evening of September 14, the occupiers fired two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the occupied Crimea at Odesa. Rescuers found the bodies of two dead men and a woman at the site of the attack. Another 65-year-old woman was also injured. She received shrapnel wounds to her head and right hip joint. She was hospitalized in moderate condition.

On the night of September 13, Odesa and its suburbs were under attack by Russians. The enemy used attack drones. It was loud in many parts of the city.

Earlier, the Russian military had attacked a civilian ship in the Black Sea that was transporting wheat to Egypt.

On the night of September 12, Zmiinyi Island in Odesa region became a target for Russian invaders. Thus, two X-22/32 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 aircraft were fired from the airspace over the Black Sea.

On the night of September 11, the Russian occupation forces fired six X-31P anti-radar missiles from tactical aircraft in the direction of Zmiyiny Island.

The day before, on the night of September 10, Russian troops also attacked Zmeinyi using an X-31 guided missile.
