Mayor of Berezivka has more foreign currency savings

A million-dollar salary, foreign currency savings, and real estate without a specified value - Bereziv Mayor Valeriy Hryhorash 's declaration for 2025 looks quite contrasting. Compared to previous years, the changes in his income and savings have become even more noticeable.

In the document, the official listed his family members - his wife Anna, son Nikita and daughter Valeria.

According to the declaration, Hryhorash owns several properties, most of which are located in Odesa region and are owned by him. The oldest asset is a 129.9-square-meter house in Berezivka, which he purchased in 1996, but its value is not specified.

He also owns a smaller house in the village of Zlatoustove with an area of 39.7 square meters, purchased in 2006 for UAH 9,517. In addition, the official owns two land plots in the same village - 2,500 and 2,330 square meters respectively, acquired on the same day in 2008. Their value is not indicated in the declaration. The family does not declare any vehicles.

The main source of income for the mayor is his salary at the city council - he declared UAH 1.053 million in 2025. In addition, he received UAH 143,458 in pensions. For comparison, in 2024 his salary was UAH 787,190 and his pension was UAH 139,314.

The official's wife declared much lower income: UAH 19,507 in salary at a branch of OM-Transregion LLC and UAH 13,230 at the Main Department of Statistics in Odesa Oblast. The official's son also had his own income: UAH 4,295 from Anastasia Ivanova, UAH 31,728 from Alina Tarasenko, and UAH 3,844 in additional benefits from the bank.

Among his monetary assets, Grigorash listed 17,700 US dollars and 650 euros in cash. For comparison, in 2024 he kept $12,500, while in 2023 he declared UAH 396,000 in cash. In 2020, no savings were reported at all, and in 2021 they amounted to UAH 150 thousand.

In addition, the wife of the mayor of Izmail, Odesa region, purchased a garage in Izmail for 137 thousand hryvnias in December 2025. In 2025, Andrii Abramchenko kept UAH 2 million and USD 210 thousand in cash, and his wife kept UAH 300 thousand, USD 460 thousand, and EUR 50 thousand.
