Massive attacks in Kherson region: one killed, houses and gas pipeline destroyed

During the day, Russian troops attacked 36 settlements in the Kherson region, striking at residential areas and infrastructure. One person was killed, six others were wounded, and dozens of houses and a gas pipeline were destroyed.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration.

Dozens of settlements in the Kherson region came under enemy fire from June 22 to June 23. In particular, Russian troops attacked Beryslav, Stanislav, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Tyahynka, Shyroka Balka and the city of Kherson.

The occupiers hit critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. The attacks damaged 7 high-rise buildings, 14 private houses, a gas pipeline, a garage and several cars.

The shelling killed one person and injured six others.

<span>The occupants</span> attacked Kherson again - a drone dropped explosives on a civilian in the Korabelny district, causing a 46-year-old man to sustain a mine-blast injury. At the same time, the occupants shelled residential areas in Dniprovsky district: an 85-year-old woman and two other women were injured, one of whom is in serious condition in hospital, the other with shrapnel wounds to her face.

One man died as a result of the shelling - his injuries were incompatible with life. A day earlier, critical and social infrastructure facilities came under fire: 5 high-rise buildings, 11 private houses, a gas pipeline and several cars were damaged.

On the night of June 12, shelling hit the central district of the city, with shells hitting residential apartments. From the morning of June 20 to the morning of June 21, new destructions were recorded: at least 2 multi-storey buildings, 14 private houses, outbuildings, a garage and civilian cars. Seven civilians were injured.

The Kherson regional emergency rescue service is working daily at the sites of the shelling. Its specialists have already covered about 95,000 broken windows and restored 85,000 square meters of roofs.
