In 2022-2023, a resident of Kherson, Inna Kasperuk , was correcting enemy attacks on her hometown.

According to the Center for Investigative Journalism, the woman was arrested in May 2023. On March 17, the Kherson City Court found her guilty of treason. The sentence is 15 years in prison with confiscation of all property.

The court found that from November 28, 2022, to March 28, 2023, Kasperuk passed information to a representative of the Russian Federation about the presence and movement of forces and means of the Armed Forces and other legitimate defense forces in Kherson. The woman passed on information to the enemy about the territory of the Kherson Machine-Building Plant, Kherson Metalworking Plant "Zhovten", Kherson City Printing House, Kherson Bread Products Plant, Crystal Office Center, Crystal Stadium, industrial zone at 18 Mykolaivske Highway, Kherson Oil Refinery, a residential building on Gymnazychna Street, and the Kherson Regional Mental Health Institution of the Kherson Regional Council in the village of Stepanivka. After Inna Kasperuk passed the information to the enemy, they shelled the territories she mentioned.

In court, Inna Kasperuk pleaded guilty and admitted that she passed information to the enemy for ideological reasons because she loves Russia. She did not receive any money for her "services".

According to witnesses, the woman, who was a nurse, had access to the hospital's patient registration log, which contained personal data of military and law enforcement officers. One of the witnesses, an SBU officer, was alarmed by the fact that Inna Kasperuk persistently asked him for his personal data and place of residence in March 2023, explaining that she needed the data to enter it into her medical record.

The court found the woman guilty of collaboration. However, the CCR noted that the verdict has not yet entered into force.

Earlier, a resident of the Kherson region, who was sentenced to 11 years in prison for disseminating information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the region, filed an appeal because she did not plead guilty. However, the Kherson Court of Appeal upheld the position of the prosecutor's office, upheld the sentence and dismissed the defense's appeal.
