Kherson volunteer Grigory Yanchenko, better known as Uncle Grisha, has completed another tour of Ukrainian cities to collect aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Hryhoriy Yanchenko announced this on his Facebook page.

The volunteer visited a number of cities and towns in the North and East of the country, including: Chernihiv, Nizhyn, Sumy, Pryluky, Ichnia, Nosivka and Parafiyivka. The tour was part of his ongoing mission to support Ukraine's defenders.

"Thanks to the fact that I visited those small towns, I was able to collect enough donations, or rather money, to have something to go to the defenders on the front line with," the volunteer wrote.

After completing another tour of the cities of northern Ukraine, the volunteer went to the East, to the units performing combat missions in the Pokrovsk sector.

This time, Hryhoriy brought 20 FPV drones to the front line, as well as detergents, insulation, film, staples and goodies. Yanchenko regularly raises funds for the 25th and 59th Brigades, to which he delivers drones, medicine and other necessary supplies. ''I want to bring more every time than the last time,'' the volunteer says.

Grigory Yanchenko has been volunteering since 2014. The total amount of aid he has delivered to the Ukrainian military has already exceeded UAH 11 million. For his work, Yanchenko has been recognized: on International Volunteer Day on December 5, 2023, he was awarded the Golden Heart by the President of Ukraine.
