A Kherson resident was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property for high treason under martial law. He passed intelligence on the movements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to a pro-Russian blogger who published this data on Telegram.

This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

A resident of Kherson was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property for high treason committed under martial law. The verdict was passed following a public prosecution by the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office - the man was found guilty under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

In court, prosecutors proved that the traitor was collecting information about the movement of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was moving through Mykolaiv region towards the temporarily occupied Kherson region. He recorded the number and types of weapons, as well as the routes of military convoys. The man passed this data to Russian special services through an intermediary, a pro-Russian blogger known as "Shaggy".

The spy sent content with details, photos and geolocation to his contact, who then published reports on the Telegram channel. The traitor was detained and remained in custody during the investigation and trial.

Also in Kherson region, 20 members of a criminal organization created during the Russian occupation were exposed. It included both former and current Ukrainian law enforcement officers who voluntarily defected to Russia. According to the investigation, these individuals took an active part in repressions against pro-Ukrainian residents - kidnapping people, conducting brutal interrogations, torturing and holding detainees in unlivable conditions in the basement of the seized police building.

In addition, during the occupation, a resident of the village of Dnipryany was found to be actively helping the occupiers. The woman passed on personal data of the Ukrainian military, law enforcement officers, journalists and citizens who supported Ukraine to the Russian military and the so-called "adviser to the head of the DPR". Her denunciations became the basis for illegal detentions and torture.
