The Security Service of Ukraine has served two more residents of Kherson region with a notice of suspicion of aiding the occupiers.
According to the agency's press service, based on the SBU materials, two more residents of the region were suspected of aiding the aggressor state.
Thus, according to the investigation, a resident of Kherson, managing an advertising agency during the occupation of the city, organized the production of anti-Ukrainian content. With the assistance of the suspect, billboards with pro-Russian slogans in support of and justifying Russian aggression were placed in Kherson and the region on the facades of educational institutions and occupation institutions, as well as in public places. For the "work", the suspect paid his employees in Russian rubles.
The SBU investigators served the enemy accomplice a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 1 of Art. 111-2 (aiding the aggressor state committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Another enemy accomplice is the head of the Oleshky municipal enterprise of the Kherson District Council. The investigation established that in the spring of 2022, the defendant supported the enemy and cooperated, heading the occupation administration of Oleshky. In this "position", the enemy accomplice approved the decision of the local "council of deputies" to establish the boundaries of the territorial district, the procedure for the powers of enterprises and activities of illegally created local governments, and the district budget. The SBU served the offender a notice of suspicion under Part 1 Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Both offenders face up to 12 years in prison and confiscation of property. The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is conducted by the SBU investigators in Kherson region under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.
