The Kherson Oblast Police have signed a deal to purchase a new 2024 Suzuki SUV. Only one participant registered for the tender, so the police did not have to choose who was cheaper.
The Center for Public Investigations learned about this from the Prozorro public procurement system.
The Main Directorate of the National Police in Kherson Oblast planned to spend UAH 1 million 257 thousand on the purchase of a car, immediately specifying the desired brand - Suzuki S-cross. This is the official dealer of Renault cars in Volyn. The contract for the supply of cars was signed with the company on December 13.
The police ordered a crossover in the maximum configuration offered by the manufacturer. It is also stated that the car must be new, manufactured in 2024, technically sound, components and materials must be unused and unused.
In addition, the car must be equipped with a Motorola DM4600E UH radio, a light and acoustic panel, a holder for pump-action weapons, and a safe for weapons and ammunition.
According to the YouControl analytical system, Lutsk-Expo LLC was registered in 2008. Since 2020, the company has been owned by Vyacheslav Pasichnyk, a resident of Rivne.
It is worth noting that Lutsk-Expo regularly participates in tenders held for public funds.
This is not the first procurement of this kind by the Kherson regional police.
In November, the department announced an auction for a specialized vehicle based on Renault Duster. It was decided to spend more than a million hryvnias from the budget.
In August, the National Police in Kherson Oblast also announced a tender for a Renault Duster-based vehicle. It was planned to spend almost a million hryvnias from the local budget. The car was to be equipped with air conditioning and a multimedia system.
Earlier, the National Police Department of Mykolaiv Oblast signed an agreement to purchase two Renault Duster SUVs worth UAH 1.5 million. The supplier is a company owned by the former head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
