A security center is to be built in Kherson Oblast, where a fire station, ambulance and police will be equipped. Almost 38 million hryvnias have been allocated from the budget for this purpose.
This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro public procurement system.
A new Security Center is planned to be built in the village of Posad Pokrovske. The expected cost of the project is UAH 37 million 994 thousand 297 including VAT.
The construction customer is the Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Kherson Oblast, and the source of funding is budgetary funds. Bids can be submitted until April 17, 2025, and the auction is scheduled for the same day.
Participants must secure their bids in the amount of UAH 189,971. The customer also requires the winner to secure the performance of the contract, which is 5% of the contract price.
According to the terms, the contractor must complete the construction by December 31, 2025. The customer allows an advance payment of up to 30% of the cost of the work.
According to the tender documents, the contractor is to carry out dismantling and excavation works, lay the foundation, masonry the walls, install the roof, insulate the facade, etc.
A boiler room will also be installed in the building. Among other things, the Security Center will house a fire station, police station, emergency medical services and a basement. The warranty period for the construction project is expected to be 10 years.
In addition, the Kherson region is planning to restore buildings worth more than UAH 50 million. Only one company applied for the tender, and it almost did not reduce the initial price. The winner is likely to be a company mentioned in investigations into the misappropriation of budget funds.
In addition, the Kherson Oblast Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service announced tenders for major road repairs in the village of Posad-Pokrovske worth over UAH 500 million. The auctions will be held on April 10, and the works should be completed by the end of 2025.
