Kateryna Chornohorenko resigns as head of the Ministry of Defense

Kateryna Chornohorenko is leaving her position at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. While working at the Ministry of Digital Transformation, she launched the eBaby and COVID certificate in Diia services, as well as an electronic sick leave. She initiated and managed the Army of Drones project, which strengthened the Defense Forces and gave them a technological advantage.

She wrote about this on her Facebook page.

"For almost two years, I have had the honor of leading the digitalization of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It was the most challenging and responsible job of my life," says the former official.

During these years, Kateryna Chornohorenko's work has led to the launch of such projects as: Reserve+, Army+, Unblocked Military Transfers, DELTA Combat System, DOT-Chain, Cyber Defense, Space Program.

Kateryna Chernohorenko was born on October 2, 1986 in Reni, Odesa region.

Under her leadership, the Ministry of Defense established the Cyber Incident Response Center, a military unit that has become a key institution in the field of cyber defense. The center provides operational monitoring, detection and neutralization of cyber threats aimed at critical military infrastructure. It also predicts possible attack vectors and develops strategies for the active protection of information and communication systems of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

We also wrote that the families of senior officers of the Russian Black Sea Fleet have been actively deported to the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula, particularly in Sevastopol.
