In Mykolaiv, the AMCU finds signs of collusion during a tender for the procurement of works for an educational institution

A case has been initiated regarding a possible conspiracy in the procurement of works by a Mykolaiv educational institution.

This was reported by the press service of the Southern Interregional Territorial Department of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

The report says that on December 26, 2023, the Southern Interregional Territorial Department of the AMCU began consideration of a case on the grounds that the collective research and production enterprise Tribotechnika and individual entrepreneur Ovsyannikova N.M. violated the legislation on the protection of economic competition during their joint participation in the bidding held by the Mykolaiv City Council's Capital Construction of Mykolaiv for the procurement of works on the construction of educational premises for the development of the creative potential of students with an inclusive form of education of the Academy of Children's Creativity.

Based on the results of the preliminary investigation, the Department found circumstances that may indicate coordination of actions of the above-mentioned bidders.

Taking into account the facts, the case was initiated.

Earlier it was reported that signs of collusion were found at the bidding for the overhaul of an amenity facility in Mykolaiv - a case was initiated.

Thus, on November 28, 2023, the case was initiated on the grounds of possible violation of the legislation on protection of economic competition by Blagoustriy-NK LLC and individual entrepreneur A.M. Yakovenko during their joint participation in the bidding held by the Administration of Zavodskyi District of Mykolaiv City Council in 2019 for the overhaul of the green zone on one of the city streets.

It was also reported that a case had been initiated on the grounds of collusion during the procurement of works on major repairs of a road in Mykolaiv region.
