A meeting of the commission that considers applications for compensation for housing destroyed as a result of hostilities was held in the Kherson city territorial community.

This was reported by the Kherson MCA.

Following the meeting, the commission approved payments for the purchase of new real estate for 11 applicants. The total amount of accrued assistance amounted to UAH 16,209,939.60. In addition, the experts resumed consideration of another previously submitted application.

Special attention was paid to seven applications for housing certificates that were previously sent for revision. They were reviewed due to the increase in the indirect cost of housing construction in the region, which allowed us to officially increase the amount of compensation for these families.

In particular, the 'eRestoration' program continues in Mykolaiv region, where payments of over UAH 724 million have already been approved for 6,597 applicants.

This means that these people can receive funds to repair their homes. To date, thousands of homeowners have already received their first payments, enabling them to start the most necessary repairs.

For those whose property was completely destroyed, there is an option to receive a housing certificate. This option allows you to purchase new housing to replace the lost one. More than a thousand owners have exercised this right, and several dozen more have received financial compensation for independent construction.

The program has several main areas. It provides financial compensation for current or major repairs for those whose homes were damaged. This allows people to receive funds to restore windows, doors, roofs and other elements of their homes.
