Over the past day, November 9, the occupation forces intensified the use of attack drones in the southern direction. The territory of Mykolaiv region suffered 11 separate attacks by FPV drones.
This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
Three coastal communities came under enemy attack: Ochakivska, Kutsurubska and Halitsynivska. As a result of the massive use of attack drones, a store building in the village of Lupareve was damaged. Fortunately, there were no civilian casualties.
At the beginning of the month, the Russian army massively attacked Kherson and Mykolaiv regions with drones, aircraft and artillery. Dozens of settlements came under attack, there were dead and wounded, and a powerful explosion was recorded in Mykolaiv.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District, on the night of November 1, Russian troops continued to attack the Kherson region with drones, aircraft and artillery. Twenty-six settlements of the region came under attack, including Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Kachkarivka and Kozatske, as well as the regional center of Kherson.
Enemy shells hit residential areas, critical and social infrastructure facilities. Eight multi-storey buildings and fifteen private houses, a church, a trade kiosk, outbuildings, garages and cars were damaged. The shelling also caused a gas leak, which was quickly shut off.
Two people died and 22 others were injured as a result of the Russian attacks. According to Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Military District Administration, on November 1, Russian troops shelled the Kutsurubska community with artillery twice. One of the strikes hit the village of Dmytrivka, where three private houses, an apartment building and a power line were damaged. As a result, there was a temporary power outage, but power supply has been restored. There were no casualties.
