Vitalii Kim, head of Mykolaiv Regional Military District Administration, explained why he bailed out Iryna Kormyshkina, MP from the Servant of the People party.

Vitaliy Kim said this on the air of United News.

According to him, he has known the MP for more than twenty years, when she was still working in the insurance business. Iryna Kormyshkina went to receive a notice of suspicion, she did not hide her savings, and the investigation should sort everything out.

Vitaliy Kim also emphasized that the MP does not intend to evade law enforcement agencies, with which she is currently fully cooperating. He also believes that the fact that she cooperates with the investigation and provides all the documents made it possible to take her on bail. Therefore, the court made this decision.

On October 23, 2024, an investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court imposed a measure of restraint in the form of a personal guarantee on the MP suspected of illicit enrichment. The guarantors were the head of the Verkhovna Rada faction , David Arakhamia , and the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim.

The suspect is obliged to fulfill certain procedural duties. The term for fulfilling these duties is two months.

Former deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Yuriy Kormyshkin reacted to the suspicion of illegal enrichment brought by the NABU and the SAPO against his wife, the current MP Iryna. He noted that the situation is being used for "information hype", which complicates his wife's life and work.

Recently, former MP Ihor Mosiychuk released the materials of the interrogation of Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.

It was about the events of 2017, and Hennadii Trukhanov said that he had met with the then Deputy Head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, Gizo Uglava, in Wroclaw.

Earlier, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor' s Office of Ukraine sent to court an indictment against former Odesa Oblast Prosecutor Oleh Zhuchenko on charges of abuse of office, receiving undue benefits from a developer for an apartment in Odesa, and using a knowingly forged document.
