The Kyiv District Court of Odesa has approved a plea agreement between the head of the aircraft engine test station of the Odesa Aviation Plant to plead guilty to forgery and causing damage to the enterprise.
As stated in the court's verdict, under the agreement, the man was sentenced to probation for one year and fined UAH 34,000.
He was also deprived of the right to hold positions related to the management of employees of the aircraft engine test station for a year and a half. The man was accused of entering false information into a number of official documents on December 19, 2024, including certificates of completion, repair certificates, test reports, certificates, and other technical documents.
Thus, knowing that the plant would not be able to conduct tests to perform work under the contract, due to the lack of kinematic connection with the KSA-3 angle drives, which made it impossible to conduct tests on the stand, he signed forged documents that became the basis for the preparation of a package of documents for sending to the customer, and for the subsequent signing by the deputy director of the act of acceptance and transfer of military property, the transfer of the box of KSA-3 aircraft units to the customer - the Central Directorate of Aviation and Air Defense Support of Oz.
He did this to avoid a fine. This resulted in unjustified expenses of OAS LLC totaling UAH 192.9 thousand.
In July 2025, the Kyiv District Court of Odesa approved an agreement between the prosecutor and the deputy director of the Odesa Aviation Plant to plead guilty to abuse of power and forgery.
The deputy director of the plant, which is part of the Ukrainian Defense Industry joint-stock company, instructed the head of the aircraft engine test station to enter false data into official documents, in particular, test reports for the KSA-3 aircraft unit box used on MiG aircraft.
