Representatives of the ATES underground carried out a sabotage in the occupied part of Kherson region, damaging critical communications equipment of the Russian Armed Forces. This caused interruptions in the control of enemy units in this sector.

The guerrillas reported this on their Telegram page.

The guerrillas carried out the sabotage on the Arabat Spit near the village of Strilkove. According to ATES, the agent damaged the transformer cabinet of the communications tower, which housed electronic warfare antennas. As a result, the equipment stopped working.

After the sabotage, communication and electronic cover at the site virtually disappeared. This, according to the movement, creates an air window for the use of drones against the occupiers' positions, including in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The guerrillas emphasized that consistent pressure on the occupation forces' facilities gradually reduces combat capabilities and deprives them of a sense of security.

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the occupation forces have stepped up repressive measures. After the recent successful strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Russian invaders launched large-scale 'raids' in Simferopol. The main purpose of these actions is to search for local residents whom the occupiers suspect of adjusting fire and helping the Ukrainian army.

"Rashists are in a panic in Crimea after the latest strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. On January 20, the occupiers were particularly active in Simferopol - in search of 'gunners'," the statement said.

According to the available information, the occupiers set up checkpoints on the ring roads, where the military, together with the police, carried out a total inspection of all vehicles. At the same time, a large-scale movement of enemy vehicles, including Russian Guard columns, was recorded in the region, and invaders' helicopters were constantly on duty in the sky.
