Izmail plans to spend more than 5 million on safety lanes

The Department of Housing and Communal Services in Izmail, Odesa region, has announced an open tender for the current repair of safety lanes and the creation of a barrier-free space on Savytskoho Street - from Semynarska Street to Telegrafna Street.

This was reported by an Intent correspondent with reference to the Prozorro website.

It is a section of the street located along Kamyshovy and Central markets, ATB supermarket and the bus station. The expected value of the purchase is UAH 5.3 million. The deadline for submitting bids is February 4. The auction is scheduled for the same day. The works are scheduled to be completed by April 30, 2026.

According to the technical documentation, the project involves the dismantling of old pavements, installation of new asphalt concrete layers, installation of curb stones, arrangement of safety walkways, installation of tactile tiles for people with limited mobility, replacement of manholes, installation of metal structures, as well as related earthworks and landscaping, including stump removal and garbage removal.

Earlier, the Department of Housing and Communal Services in Odesa region summed up the results of a tender to select a contractor to restore the parking lot for heavy vehicles in Izmail. The truck parking lot will be arranged on the way to the transshipment points of the Izmail Commercial Sea Port. According to the terms of the contract, it should be completed within the next six months.

The Executive Committee of the Izmail City Council also approved the Program for regulating the number of stray animals in the city of Izmail for 2026. The program provides for funding from the city budget in the amount of UAH 1.5 million. The Housing and Utilities Department of the Izmail City Council is designated as the main spending unit.
