From Copenhagen to Kharkiv: Where Kim was in 2025

In 2025, Vitalii Kim, head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, spent 49 days outside the region on business trips.

According to the study, the official signed 24 travel orders during the year. In total, this amounts to 49 days, of which 5 were abroad.

Vitalii Kim traveled to Kyiv most often - 15 trips were recorded. He also traveled to Kharkiv, Dnipro, Sumy region, Zakarpattia, and Odesa. The only foreign visit was to Copenhagen.

As for the foreign business trips, they were organized according to the route: Mykolaiv - Chisinau - Warsaw - Copenhagen - Warsaw - Chisinau - Mykolaiv, one of the clauses of the order stipulated that the costs associated with the transfer between Moldova and Denmark, travel within Denmark, accommodation and meals would be covered by the Danish government under the Municipal Cooperation Program - Ukraine and Denmark. And the next paragraph of the order instructed the Finance Department to pay the travel expenses. That is, from Ukraine to Moldova and back.

Most of the business trips took place in September, when the head of the region spent 12 days out of the region. At the same time, there were no trips in July.

Journalists note that information about the business trips was not publicly available on the regional administration's website; it was received only in response to an official request.

Analysts emphasize that the lack of public information on business trips raises questions about the transparency of officials' work. At the same time, the business trips themselves may be related to the performance of official duties.

Earlier, Intent wrote that the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim published his annual declaration for 2025. In the document, he listed real estate in Mykolaiv, cars, his wife's business, and an expensive watch.

Last year, the CPR wrote that in 2024, Vitaliy Kim declared 1.7 million hryvnias of income, which is about 400 thousand more than the year before. At the same time, a new item appeared in the declaration - the sale of cryptocurrency: Yulia Kim declared the sale of digital assets worth UAH 1.9 million.
