The construction of a school farm for more than three hundred million hryvnias is planned in Mykolaiv region. Grant funds for the farm were provided by France.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

The project was initiated by the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

It is planned to create an educational, research, and production complex on the basis of the Mykolaiv National Agrarian University, which will combine the construction of a pig farm, a biogas plant for generating biogas and electricity, a waste pellet production line, solar power plants, a thermal complex, and a mini-meat processing plant.

All of these facilities will create an innovation and investment ground for the introduction of the latest technologies on the university's land and an educational, research and production consortium.

This will make it possible to build a new type of higher education institution based on the formation of an integrated education system in the context of the concept of sustainable development, which includes four areas of activity: educational, scientific, entrepreneurial, and innovative.

The project budget is UAH 306 million 803 thousand 282. The funds were provided under a grant agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the French Republic.

Recently, Mykolaiv allocated more than UAH 138 million to repair one of the buildings of the oncology dispensary. Repairs began in 2019, and in 2021 it was emphasized that the facility was 85% complete. The accompanying documents state that the repair contract was signed with Antares-BUD LLC back in 2020.

A laboratory for transplantation research will also appear in the region. It is being equipped on the basis of the Mykolaiv Clinical Hospital. For this purpose, the food unit is being reconstructed. The laboratory will meet all legal requirements and provide high quality medical services for patients in need of transplantation. The new premises will include specialized equipment for analyzing and processing biomaterials.

In addition, Mykolaiv is implementing a project to restore two city neighborhoods. Denmark has allocated almost one hundred million hryvnias for their reconstruction. It is planned to restore the Lisky-1 and Lisky-2 neighborhoods. The goal of the residential neighborhood reconstruction project is to create a living environment that will provide comfort and safety for its residents, as well as contribute to the sustainable development of the city.
