Visitors to Odesa's Luna Park in Shevchenko Park got stuck on one of Ukraine's tallest Power Tower rides.

This was reported by the UNN publication with reference to eyewitnesses.

The Power Tower is a 60-meter-high rectangular structure that can accommodate 32 passengers. The attraction slowly rises upwards, and after acceleration, it drops sharply downwards, and this happens several times. The accident may have been caused by a power outage.

In three years, this is the third such incident in Luna Park that has been reported. In November 2024, rescuers from Odesa, along with the amusement park staff, rescued four children from a height of eighteen meters. The children got stuck in the amusement park in Shevchenko Park when the lights were turned off. The firefighters used a rope belay to lower the children down the emergency ladder. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service worked with the children.

In July of the same year, Telegram channels published a video and captioned it that people with children were stuck on a Ferris wheel in Shevchenko Park right during the air raid and explosions. The footage showed a woman with a child stuck at the very top of the wheel. It was at this moment that the explosion occurred.

In March 2024, visitors to the Odesa amusement park located in Shevchenko Park were forgotten on the Ferris wheel - the ride operator stopped it when people were in the booth above. Luna Park told Intent that the incident occurred on March 16, but did not provide details, promising to pass the editor's number to the administrator so that he could contact the editorial office.

Also, one of the rides in Shevchenko Park broke down in the evening of March 5, 2023. About a dozen people were trapped on the ride for a while. It was also about the Power Tower.
