Five people were injured in the Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression.

The head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this in his Telegram.

The Russian occupation forces carried out a massive shelling of the Kherson region, combining attacks with drones, aircraft and artillery. Kherson, Antonivka, Komyshany, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Bilozerka, Velytenske, Dniprovske, Zorivka, Kizomys, Pravdyne, Rozlyv, Tomyna Balka, Stanislav, Sofiyivka came under enemy fire, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Novotyanka, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Novovorontsovka, Chervonyi Mayak, Dudchany, Tyahyntsi, Odradokamyanka and Vesele.

According to Prokudin, five local residents sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of Russian aggression. In addition, the destruction of the housing stock was recorded: three multi-storey buildings and five private households in the communities of the region suffered significant damage.

As a reminder, two frontline communities in the Kherson region received armored vehicles. The report says that the special vehicles with the fourth class of protection will be used to evacuate residents of Beryslav and Tyahyn communities. These settlements are under particularly brutal shelling by Russian troops. Therefore, the availability of protected vehicles makes it safer to rescue people who remain on the line of fire.

It is noted that the cars were purchased with the support of the temporarily occupied communities of the region - Kakhovka and Novotroitskaya. As part of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities," they have allocated more than UAH 17.7 million in subventions.
