For the third time in two months, activists of the NGO Decolonization.Ukraine have updated the map with the number of streets that they believe should be renamed, counting 200 in Odesa Oblast.

Compared to the last update, the number of place names that activists believe need to be renamed has decreased from 207.

In Kherson region, there are 66 of them left, and in Mykolaiv region, the number has decreased by one place name to 72. Thus, Odesa region remains in fifth place among the regions of Ukraine where streets, lanes and other place names need to be decolonized. Zaporizhzhia region is in first place, with 1,000 streets that need to be decolonized, which is one less than before. Kharkiv region is in second place with 282 place names compared to 293 during the last update. Kyiv region is in third place with 268 streets compared to 294 previously, and Vinnytsia region is in fourth place (261 streets compared to 268 previously).

The activists have always noted that the list is not exhaustive and will be adjusted in the future.

On April 14, activists updated the map with the number of streets that they believe should be renamed, counting 207 in Odesa region, and before that, the map was updated on April 6.

Meanwhile, in Odesa, activists of the movement and another NGO, "Making You Nervous," had conflicts for two days in a row, ending in fights, with the defenders of a memorial plaque in the Heroes of the Border Guards Park in Odesa. Law enforcement officers registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations information under Part 1 of Article 125 (light bodily harm) and Part 4 of Article 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on the basis of statements by two representatives of the NGO.

Law enforcement officers also drew up a report against the woman who damaged the sign for violating state standards, norms and rules in the field of landscaping, and rules for landscaping of settlements (Article 152 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses).
