The number of families of Ukraine's defenders from Odesa Oblast who have already benefited from interest rate compensation under the eHouse program has reached 422.

This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper.

According to him, the total amount of payments has already reached UAH 19 million.

The main terms of the "eHouse" program:

For comparison, standard bank rates for housing are 15-25%. The Odesa Regional Military Commissariat reimburses interest under the eHouse program for members of the Defense Forces at the expense of the regional budget. Thanks to this, our defenders can buy housing without overpaying on the loan.

For most citizens, the eHouse program is focused on new or commissioned housing no more than three years ago. Under the program, internally displaced persons will be able to buy apartments or houses up to ten years old, while previously the age of housing under eHouse was limited to three years.

The state program for affordable mortgage lending to Ukrainian citizens, eOselya, was launched in August 2022, and as of September 10, 277 people in Odesa region had used it.

In December, the UMO reported that 364 families of servicemen from Odesa Oblast had benefited from interest rate compensation under the eHouse program.

Meanwhile, agricultural enterprises in Odesa region have received UAH 2.5 billion in loans under the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%" since the beginning of the year. The money was received by 391 enterprises, and by this indicator, the agrarians of Odesa region are in third place in Ukraine. In terms of the number of enterprises that took out loans, the agrarians of Odesa region were behind Kirovohrad region, where 447 enterprises took out loans, and Kyiv region - 404 enterprises.
