A morning rocket attack by Russian troops on Mykolaiv killed one person and wounded 15 others. Among the victims is a child whose condition is assessed by doctors as moderate.
This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
On the morning of November 1, Mykolaiv was subjected to a missile attack by Russian troops. According to the press service, a ballistic missile, probably an Iskander M with a cluster warhead, was fired at the city around 07:20.
The attack killed one person and injured 15 others with varying degrees of severity. Among the injured is a child whose condition is assessed by doctors as moderate.
The rocket damaged a gas station and several cars. The State Emergency Service units arrived at the scene to eliminate the consequences. Specialists were working to neutralize the danger: they were washing off the spilled fuel with water and air-mechanical foam to prevent a fire. The operation involved chemists and pyrotechnic teams.
Medical workers and Red Cross volunteers provided assistance to the victims, including first aid and escorting them to medical facilities.
A few minutes earlier, an air raid was announced due to the launch of a ballistic missile from Crimea. Earlier, local residents had spotted a reconnaissance drone over the Zavodskyi district. Later, the head of the region, Kim, reported injuries as a result of the missile strike.
Yesterday, Russian troops shelled the Kutsurubska community twice with artillery. One of the strikes hit the village of Dmytrivka: three private houses, an apartment building and a power line were damaged. As a result, there was a temporary power outage, but power supply has been restored. There were no casualties.
On the night of October 31, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Mykolaiv region using Shahed kamikaze drones. Thanks to the work of air defense systems, some of the drones were shot down, but the debris damaged infrastructure in Mykolaiv district - an outpatient clinic, one private house and three cars were damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured.
