Enemy fired at Ochakiv in the morning: no casualties

In the morning, on July 31, at about five o'clock, Russian troops shelled Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, with a multiple rocket launcher system. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. Data on the damage is being clarified.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration on its website.

In addition, 22 fires were registered in the Mykolaiv region, and almost all of them were in ecosystems. Dry grass, garbage, shrubs, and forest belts were on fire. There was also a fire on the territory of the Varyushyno forest tract in the Voznesensky district of the region, but in a different area than the day before. The total area of the fires was about 20 hectares. Local fire brigades from Pervomaiske, Pokrovka, Rybakivka and the local population helped to extinguish the fires.

Yesterday the situation in the city was the same. As a result, eleven private houses, one apartment building, three cars, five outbuildings were damaged , and a fire broke out on dry grass and one of the damaged buildings.

Russian troops have intensified drone attacks on access roads to Kherson, including the strategically important Mykolaiv-Kherson highway.

Medical workers in the right-bank part of Kherson region received assistance from the regional administration.

The Mykolaiv Regional State Administration signed agreements worth more than one billion hryvnias for new boiler houses to replace the destroyed CHP plant. Contracts for the supply of equipment were awarded to five companies without open bidding.

The Department of Urban Planning, Architecture, Capital Construction and Development Project Support of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration has signed five agreements for the supply of block-modular boiler houses totaling more than UAH 1.8 billion.
