On Easter night 2025, the usual curfew regime will be in effect in the southern regions of Ukraine. The authorities of Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions have decided not to change the curfew duration to maintain security under martial law.

In Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, the curfew will remain in the standard mode - from midnight to five in the morning. Security measures are also planned to be strengthened in these regions. Local changes are possible in some communities. In particular, in the Ochakiv community in Mykolaiv region, restrictions will last from 23:00 to 05:00.

In Kherson region, the curfew will continue to start at 21:00 and last until five in the morning. Night services, the blessing of baskets at night, and visits to cemeteries, except for burials, are prohibited in the region.

The police in the regions will work in an enhanced mode - they will be on duty near churches, on highways and in crowded places. Law enforcement officials warned of possible random checks of citizens' belongings to prevent provocations and ensure order.

At the same time, the Security Service of Ukraine emphasized the high probability of Russian provocations and terrorist attacks during the holidays. According to the SBU, the enemy may use religious events to fuel conflicts and destabilize the situation. There is also a threat of attacks on crowded places. The aggressor may use its agents to adjust air strikes and organize terrorist attacks in peaceful cities.

The SBU called on citizens to be as vigilant as possible, avoid mass events, observe curfews, respond to air raid warnings and report suspicious objects or persons who may pose a threat to law enforcement.

Recently, Intent reported that a special mode of light camouflage was introduced in Kherson region by the local authorities.
