Drones will fly longer: Kherson region's defenders receive signal amplification stations

The Marine Corps Coast Guard units received stations for amplifying signals from ground-based systems and powering their elements.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, these systems will help the drones perform their missions more efficiently, minimizing our losses.

"They will also provide additional protection for drone operators and reduce the possibility of enemy electronic warfare ," the KhOVA said in a statement.

The administration also added that this assistance is part of a program to improve the efficiency of unmanned aerial vehicles in Kherson region. The cost of the stations is more than 500 thousand hryvnias and they were purchased at the expense of Beryslav, Mylivka, Novokakhovka and Chulakivka communities.

The United States is preparing another military aid package for Ukraine worth at least $275 million. The package includes HIMARS highly mobile artillery missile systems, Javelin anti-tank systems, 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells, as well as air defense systems, spare parts and other necessary equipment.

The weapons will be provided under the President's arms reduction authority, which allows the Pentagon to quickly pull stocks from its shelves and speed up their delivery to the front lines in Ukraine. The US State Department also announced the approval of a $100 million deal that includes military equipment repairs, training, and technical support.

The aid comes amid fears of an escalating conflict. All sides are trying to gain an advantage, as a possible end to the war, which Trump is seeking, could change the course of events on the frontline.

It is worth recalling that Donald Trump won the US presidential election. Almost 74.7 million Americans voted for him, and his rival, Kamala Harris, received more than 69.7 million votes, according to preliminary data.

In addition, the State Department has officially authorized Ukraine to use ATACMS against Russia. Also, some EU countries allow Ukraine to use the weapons they provide against legitimate military targets inside Russia.
