DREAM has registered projects to restore Kherson region for more than UAH 7 billion

The state digital ecosystem for recovery management DREAM contains 334 projects for the reconstruction of Kherson region. Their implementation will require UAH 7.1 billion.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, according to the DREAM digital system, UAH 2.4 billion of the required UAH 7.1 billion is currently available for the implementation of reconstruction projects in the region. The Chornobaiv community is ranked first in terms of the number of reconstruction projects entered into the system. Currently, 87 projects are registered there with a total estimated budget of UAH 1.2 billion. However, the available funding is currently only UAH 467 million.

In turn, the Beryslav community has 69 projects, the Vysokopil community - 62, the Kherson community - 28, and the Velyko Oleksandrivska community - 24.

According to the restoration categories, the projects are divided into repair or modernization (163 projects), new construction (102), and supply of goods or equipment (69).

The DREAM ecosystem is implemented by the DREAM Project Office within the GIZ Ukraine Sustainable Society Cluster, funded by the German Government and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. DREAM was established and operates in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1286 of November 15, 2022.

To rebuild the Mykolaiv region , UAH 5.6 billion of the required UAH 37.7 billion is currently available for project implementation. The Mykolaiv community is ranked first in terms of the number of recovery projects - 254 with a total estimated budget of UAH 18.1 billion.

Earlier, the Dream ecosystem announced its intention to build a new civil defense facility for Velyko Oleksandrivska secondary school No. 2. The project belongs to the program of comprehensive restoration of Kherson region and is being implemented by order No. 873 of 19.12.23 of the head of Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin. The balance holder is the Velyko Oleksandrivka Village Council, and the project initiator is the Department of Territorial Development of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
