Late in the evening, on October 31, the occupiers launched a missile attack on Odesa. A fire station came under fire.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The explosion occurred during an air raid. The rescuers were taking cover and at that moment the enemy fired a missile at the city.

"2 rescuers who were going to the shelter during the air raid were injured, they are currently in the hospital, doctors are working with them. Fire trucks and the fire station were damaged. A cynical attack on those who save others!" the statement reads.

Updated at 10.50 am: According to the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, the attack damaged the administrative building of the fire station, fire trucks, and the cars of citizens in the nearby parking lot.
The inspection is ongoing, and a full list of destruction and damage is being established. Prosecutors and law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of Russia's armed aggression.
A pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched.
Updated at 14.30: The city council added that the Novomysske (Tairovske) cemetery was also damaged as a result of a missile strike on Odesa. The strike hit plots 146, 147, 157 and 158, where burials took place mainly from 1977 to 2010. According to preliminary data, 114 graves were damaged, 19 of which were completely destroyed. Utilities continue to assess the extent of the damage.
The day before, Odesa region survived a massive missile attack by Russian invaders. Two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles were fired from Crimea and eight X-59/69 guided missiles from tactical aircraft over the Black Sea.
The long-suffering bridge across the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi estuary in Zatoka came under enemy attack. The military reported that two guided missiles were destroyed.
On the afternoon of October 29, the Russians attacked the region with two X-31P guided missiles, which did not reach their targets. The missiles were launched by a Russian Su-30 fighter jet from the Black Sea. A fragment of one of the missiles shot down over the coast of Odesa region hit a 71-year-old man and killed him.
On the morning of October 27, employees of the Khadzhybey district administration inspected the homes of Odesa residents who suffered as a result of the missile attack on Odesa. The blast wave damaged one educational institution and 21 households.
Following the air raid alert, an explosion occurred in Odesa on the evening of October 26, after which citizens began posting photos of the fire on social media, indicating that it was burning in the Zastava II area. The State Emergency Service press service confirmed that a large-scale fire was raging in the city, with a warehouse on fire.
