The Kyiv District Court of Odesa approved an agreement between the prosecutor and the deputy director of the Odesa Aviation Plant regarding the latter's plea of guilty to abuse of power and forgery.

According to the court' s verdict, the deputy director of the plant, which is part of the Ukrainian Defense Industry joint-stock company, instructed the head of the aircraft engine test station to enter false data into official documents, in particular, test reports for the KSA-3 aircraft unit box used on MiG aircraft.

As a result, the Central Aviation and Air Defense Support Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received equipment assembled from defective spare parts, and the plant, in turn, unnecessarily spent UAH 193 thousand.

The court took into account the defendant's sincere repentance and sentenced him to probation for a year and a fine of UAH 34 thousand. He was also deprived of the right to hold positions related to the management of employees of the aircraft engine test station for a period of one year and six months and an additional fine of UAH 8,500.

Also, the Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa approved the agreement concluded between the prosecutor of the Bilyaevsky District Prosecutor's Office and Bohdan Lozian, former deputy head of the Southern Interregional Forestry and Hunting Department of the State Forestry Agency, on the latter's plea of guilty to bribery.

Investigators proved that in early 2024, the head of the interregional department, in collusion with his deputy and another subordinate, set up a "flow" of extortion from those wishing to take an exam and obtain a hunting license in Odesa.
