On June 19, a panel of judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal increased the bail for the former head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support, Yevhen Borysov, to UAH 45.4 million.

This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation.

According to the SBI, a prosecutor from the Prosecutor General's Office filed an appeal.

In early June, the Pechersk Court of Kyiv reduced the bail that was provided as an alternative measure of restraint for the former head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support, Yevhen Borysov.

Instead of the previously set 80 million hryvnias, the former military commissar now has to pay 20 million to be released from the pre-trial detention center. The investigation asked to keep the bail of 80 million hryvnias, which was set earlier, but the court partially granted the request.

Earlier, Borisov was held in custody with the right to post more than UAH 400 million in bail. Then the amount was gradually reduced: first to 200 million, then to 179 million, and then to 80 million.

On December 25, 2024, SBI officers detained Yevhen Borysov, the former head of the Odesa Regional TCC and JV, in Kyiv. This happened after he was released on bail in the amount of UAH 39.364 million.

In May 2024, Borysov already tried to leave the detention center, using a bail of UAH 12 million. However, the DBR brought a new suspicion against him and detained him again.

In November, it became known that in the detention center, Yevhen Borysov tried to obtain a disability group.

Earlier, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation completed an investigation into criminal proceedings against the former head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, Yevhen Borysov , for forgery of documents.

In 2023, journalists conducted an investigation and found out that the family of the head of the Odesa Regional TCC and JV had purchased millions of dollars worth of real estate and cars on the Spanish coast. And this was during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

At first, Borisov himself said that he was "not aware" of the family's property in Spain, and then that his wife was engaged in retail trade there and he did not "get involved" in these matters.

On July 22, 2023, the former Odesa military commissar was notified of suspicion on three charges: illicit enrichment, unauthorized leaving the place of service, and evasion from service. These sanctions provide for up to 10 years in prison in case of conviction.
